Our autism clinic will join forces with a large therapy and assessment practice to provide in-house assessments and parent therapy that will result in higher levels of parent engagement and learner outcomes.

We have consistent referrals that will provide a full caseload, but our clinical model is built to care for our learners and clinical team. Higher levels of self-care will be promoted with only 30-35 direct client hours per week. Our goal is to invest in our clinical team in order to help you propel your career! Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), including those who want to become certified, who can practice in the State of Virginia are needed to join our team in a clinic setting. Genesis Autism was formed as an extension of Genesis Counseling Center that has over 70 licensed clinicians across beautiful Hampton Roads, VA. Our autism clinic will join forces with a large therapy and assessment practice to provide in-house assessments and parent therapy that will result in higher levels of parent engagement and learner outcomes.

We have consistent referrals that will provide a full caseload, but our clinical model is built to care for learners, families, and our clinical team. Higher levels of self-care will be promoted with less than 40 hours of direct client hours per week. Our goal is to invest in our clinical team to help you propel your career! Responsibilities:

• Work with children by helping them learn how to communicate, build social skills, play, and learn
• Learn directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs and BCaBAs) how to provide therapy to children and families in need of support
• Review behavior plans and other relevant (e.g., instructional) materials developed by behavior analysts for patients to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor outcomes appropriately
• Complete daily tracking and progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age; a bachelor’s in psychology or related degree is a huge plus
• Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential or willingness to obtain certification after job offer and before your start date (we will provide guidance)
• Enroll and complete courses within the first 30 days of the job offer
• You enjoy caring for children
