Sarah Friesland | BCBA - Hampton Clinic Director

Meet Sarah

Sarah is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for several years. While finishing her undergraduate degree, Sarah was seeking a job and ended up as a Registered Behavior Technician with little knowledge about the field. She soon discovered how meaningful the work was to children and their families. She was also fascinated with the various ABA techniques she was learning and seeing the clients’ progress. Sarah knew that this was the field for her. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in ABA and her M.A. in ABA.

Fun Facts:
When Sarah is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Sammy and Grady.

Arisa Phelps | BCBA

Meet Arisa

Arisa is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Arisa fell into the world of ABA when searching for significant work in helping individuals reach their full potential.  Arisa has several years of experience working in the field of ABA, which has equipped her with the knowledge to support the development and growth of others. She is dedicated to providing services that are tailored to each individual’s unique needs and strengths. Arisa is committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals and is proud to be a part of a profession that has a meaningful impact on a variety of people.

Fun Facts:
Outside of work,  Arisa enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs (Oliver and Olivia), her three cats: (Cosmo, Oscar, and Beau), and loving husband.

Shavon Champagne | BCBA

Meet Shavon

Shavon is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in the field for several years. Her passion for helping others began when she worked in a special education classroom while living in Germany. She continued her work in several schools after returning to Virginia. After completing her M.A. in Human Services, she knew she wanted to do more. She applied for a job as a Registered Behavior Technician and experienced firsthand how much of a difference she could make. Shavon holds an M.A. in Special Education with a minor in ABA.

When not at work, Shavon enjoys traveling and experiencing new things.
